eSIM
For years, travel eSIMs have focused on one thing: mobile data. That covers most travelers. But not all of them.
Many still want a real phone number. To receive a call from a hotel. Contact a local guide. Call a taxi. Receive a verification SMS from a bank. Data alone doesn't always solve those everyday situations.
That's why esimba.ai is launching Hercules, our first Travel plan with full telecom functionality, combining mobile data, voice calls, SMS, and a phone number in a single travel eSIM.
Unlike traditional data-only travel eSIMs, Hercules gives our partners an entirely new product they can add to their inventory and sell under their own brand. Whether you're an OTA, airline, fintech, travel platform, telecom provider, or reseller, Hercules fits naturally into your existing white-label eSIM offering.
Hercules is esimba.ai's first voice and text travel eSIM, designed specifically for businesses that sell travel connectivity.
Instead of offering only mobile data, partners can now provide customers with a complete mobile service that includes:
From the traveler's perspective, activation works just like any other travel eSIM. They install the profile, activate it, and immediately gain internet access, voice calling, SMS, and a temporary phone number, all without buying a physical SIM card after landing.
For partners, Hercules simply becomes another product in the catalog, sitting alongside existing data-only plans.
Travelers don't all have the same connectivity needs.
Some only need affordable internet access. Others expect the same functionality they have at home, including traditional phone calls and SMS.
Adding Hercules lets you address both groups.
Partners can continue offering standard travel eSIMs and products like global eSIM unlimited data while introducing a premium option for customers who want complete telecom functionality during their trip.
It's another revenue opportunity without building telecom infrastructure yourself.

One of the biggest advantages of Hercules is that it's built exclusively for partner distribution.
The plan isn't available directly to retail customers. Instead, businesses can add Hercules to their own product inventory and offer it through their branded website, app, or marketplace.
Customers see your brand throughout the purchase journey while esimba.ai provides the telecom infrastructure, provisioning, and connectivity behind the scenes.
If you're already using our White-Label eSIM Platform, you can add Hercules as another product in your existing white-label storefront.
The result is a broader portfolio without increasing operational complexity.
The first Hercules launch focuses on regional travel across Europe.
Customers can choose between three data options:
Every plan also includes:
The phone number is randomly assigned during activation and cannot be selected or transferred from another provider.
Once the plan expires, or once the included resources have been used, the mobile line closes automatically. If the traveler purchases Hercules again, a new line with a new phone number is created.
This approach keeps activation simple while making the service ideal for short-term travel.
Hercules was created to fit naturally into existing white-label sales channels.
Partners can sell it through:
Businesses already connected through eSIM API Integration only need to support asynchronous purchasing to enable Hercules. Partners using hosted white-label webstores don't need to make any changes; the product can simply be added to their available inventory.
That means existing partners can begin offering voice and text eSIMs without redesigning their customer journey.
Hercules is intentionally designed as a travel product rather than a long-term mobile subscription.
Each purchase creates a new mobile line that remains active for 30 days. The service doesn't support refills or automatic renewals, and customers receive a new phone number whenever they purchase another Hercules plan.
Identity verification (KYC) isn't required for the current version because the service duration stays below regulatory thresholds. The capability has been prepared for future releases but isn't currently part of the customer experience.
Partners can apply standard discount coupons to Hercules plans, although free-data redemption promotions aren't supported for this product type.
If customers report issues with calls, SMS delivery, or phone numbers, partners should continue to use the standard support process. esimba.ai monitors these requests and works directly with the underlying network provider whenever escalation is required.
Hercules is a strong fit for businesses that already sell travel services or international connectivity.
For partners already offering travel eSIMs, Hercules isn't a replacement for data-only products. It's another option that broadens your catalog, reaches a different customer segment, and creates additional opportunities to grow revenue under your own brand.
